From Monday 9 February to Tuesday 24 February 2026, some services will be temporarily unavailable – including updating your personal details, joining or renewing your membership and some payments.

The RCOG website will remain available, and your member benefits will continue to be accessible during this period.

We will share updates during the upgrade on this page, via email and through social media.

During the upgrade you can still:

  • browse the main College site
  • access your member benefits and resources (including the content you already have access to)
  • book and attend events

You will not be able to:

  • update your personal details
  • create a new RCOG account
  • join or renew your membership (including the Trainee’s Register)
  • request refunds

Account access and sign-in

Yes, you’ll be able to sign in to your RCOG account throughout the transition period. 

No, it won’t be possible to register a new RCOG account during the transition period.

Yes, you will be able to reset your password during the transition period.

You won’t be able to change your personal details during the transition period. The upgrade will make it quicker and easier for you to manage your personal details in the future.

Membership and payments

No – you will continue to have access to your existing member benefits.

Your current membership status will not be affected. Existing Fellows, Members and Associates will be unable to make renewal payments during the transition period. If your annual renewal is due during the transition period, we recommend you complete it by 3pm (UK time) on Friday 6 February. Renewal payments will resume from Tuesday 24 February. 

No, you will be unable to join as a new Fellow, Member or Associate during the transition period. New Fellow, Member and Associate applications will resume from Tuesday 24 February.

We’re unable to take payments for renewals or new membership subscriptions during the transition period. You will continue to have access to your existing member benefits during this period.  

No, you’re unable to request a refund during the transition period. However, our teams will be working hard to process refund requests once the new platform is live.

Exams

Yes. Results for the January 2026 Part 1 & 2 MRCOG exams will be released as scheduled on Wednesday 11 February. Candidates who sat the January 2026 exam will receive their results directly through the RCOG Candidate Portal

No, the transition period won’t impact the exam applications process for existing RCOG account holders. The MRCOG Part 1 Eligibility, MRCOG Part 1 Expression of Interest and MRCOG Part 2 Expression of Interest forms will remain available.

No, the transition period won’t impact your application process. The first booking window opens on Thursday 5 March 2026. The second booking window opens on Thursday 12 March 2026. The Assessment of Training form will remain available.

No, the transition period won’t impact your application process. Eligible DRCOG applicants, who have already completed an expression of interest will be able to book until the booking window closes on Thursday 26 February. Please follow the instructions emailed to you for further information on how to book your exam via our partner Pearson VUE test centres.

Events and RCOG Learning

You can continue to book and attend events during the transition period. As always, we encourage you to book onto events early to avoid disappointment.

Existing RCOG Learning users will continue to have full access to RCOG Learning courses. Existing RCOG Learning account holders can continue to purchase new courses and merchandise from the RCOG shop during the transition period. 

No, new RCOG Learning accounts cannot be set up during the transition period.

Other member benefits

Existing members will continue to have full access to the RCOG CPD ePortfolio. However, we’re unable to process new registrations during the transition period. 

Existing members will continue to have access to both BJOG and TOG via this site during the transition period.

Yes, please contact the teams in the normal way via telephone or email as per our Library services page.

Training registrations and certificates

No, your existing Trainee status will not be affected. You will be unable to renew your Trainee status during the transition period. If your Trainee renewal is due during the transition period, please complete it by 5pm (UK time) Friday 6 February.

No, you will be unable to subscribe to the RCOG Trainees’ Register during the transition period. If you are a new O&G trainee, please complete and submit the Trainee registration form by 5pm (UK time) Friday 6 February and make payment by Monday 9 February.

No, existing users will continue to have full access to the RCOG Training ePortfolio and resources. 

Please submit your SITM registration form by 5pm (UK time) on Wednesday 4 February and make payment by Monday 9 February. You will be unable to register for a SITM during the transition period.

Please submit your SIPM registration form by 5pm (UK time) on Wednesday 4 February and make payment by Monday 9 February. You will be unable to register for a SIPM during the transition period.

Please submit your SST registration form by 5pm (UK time) on Wednesday 4 February and make payment by Monday 9 February. You will be unable to register during the transition period.

You can submit your CCT forms during the transition period but only applications with all outstanding training payments can be processed. If you have outstanding fees, please ensure these are paid by Monday 9 February.

You’ll be unable to complete CEL registrations or renewals during the transition period. If your CEL renewal is approaching, or you’re registering for the first time, we encourage you to complete your registration by 5pm (UK time) Wednesday 4 February.
