The RCOG is pleased to announce the portfolios of the new cohort of Vice Presidents.
In September 2025, the RCOG Council elected a new team of five Vice Presidents.
Working alongside the President-Elect Dr Alison Wright, the Vice Presidents will work to further the College’s strategic goals as well as its charitable objectives: to advance the O&G specialty and champion women’s health globally.
Subject to approval by Council on 12 December, the new portfolios are as follows:
- Vice President for Global Health - Sherif Abdel-Fattah
- Vice President for Clinical Quality - Jenny Barber
- Vice President for Workforce - Sujeewa Fernando
- Vice President for Membership - Andrew Leather
- Vice President for Education - Melanie Tipples
The President-Elect and her team of Vice Presidents-Elect will begin their three-year term following an installation ceremony on Friday 12 December. The College will be sharing more information and introducing the new Vice President group in December once they take up office.
